There’s quite a bit of refurbishment going on around Disney World right now or scheduled to take place in the next few months.
From attractions to hotel pools, a lot of things are being spruced up. Today, when we visited Magic Kingdom we noticed that some work was also being done at one of the park’s most classic attractions.
At the end of last year, the construction walls came down around “it’s a small world.” But, now construction walls are up just across the way at Peter Pan’s Flight. We spotted these brown construction walls up near in the queue tower the back end of the building.
For reference, the front of the attraction building is to the left hand side n the photo below. Due to the construction walls, guests are now lining up just outside of the walls for that portion of the queue. The ride itself, though, is still fully open for everyone to enjoy.
If you’re headed to the ride and wondering where the queue begins, be sure to look for the Cast Member at the end of the line with the “Line Starts Here” sign.
We’re not entirely sure what Disney is working on or refurbishing in that area, but we’ll keep an eye out for more updates and let you know what we see.

Could it be loading modifications which will allow the ride to be stopped for disabled guests?
