The Lunar New Year will begin on Friday, and 2021 is set to be the Year of the Ox!
We’ve already seen some merch for this Chinese celebration around the parks, from a stunning set of red and gold Minnie ears to a fierce spirit jersey!
Shanghai Disney Resort is celebrating the Lunar New Year in style with A Spring Festival Spectacular, and the U.S. is getting just a little taste of this at Downtown Disney, Disneyland Resort’s shopping and dining district.
How? With a festive red balloon straight from Shanghai Disney Resort! This inflatable features Mickey and Minnie with some Chinese lanterns (talk about meta!) and Enchanted Storybook Castle way in the background!
It’s ALWAYS cool to see a little something from the international parks at Disneyland or Walt Disney World, and when we spot these balloons (or anything else from around the world), we’ll let you know where to find it!

Going to Disney World for 6 Park days in late April. (First time) Staying at Shades of Green (military hotel). Can you do a video on perks/advantages/disadvantages of SOG. Also the transportation options since Polynesian is closed. Greatly appreciate your videos.
