In just a few weeks, the Star Wars Trading Post will reopen at its new spot in Downtown Disney in California.
While most guests will get the chance to visit it on February 19th, Disneyland Legacy Passholders can preview this spot a few days early. And now, reservations for this special Passholder preview are available!
Earlier today, Disney shared that reservations for the Star Wars Trading Post Legacy Passholder preview event are NOW open for booking! Legacy Passholders will get early access to the Trading Post from February 16th through February 18th, 2021.
Passholders will be able to bring 1 guest with them. The new Trading Post location is inspired by the look and feel of a hidden jungle Resistance base. Inside, guests will get the chance to purchase lots of Star Wars merchandise, including items inspired by The Mandalorian. According to the photos shared by Disney, the merchandise that will be available appears to include this Passholder shirt…
…the Paddy Frog sipper we’ve spotted in Disney World…
…the EPIC metal Galaxy’s Edge Gift Card…
…and the Ahsoka Tano Legacy Lightsaber Hilts.
To make your reservation, visit the Disneyland Star Wars Trading Post website. Keep in mind that Passholders will need to show their eligible Passport and a valid photo ID to access the shopping opportunity.
Passholder discounts will apply on select merchandise. And Legacy Passholders may be able to get that special 30% discount on select merchandise Mondays-Thursdays through February 25th, but that does not apply on certain items like lightsabers.
When it’s your turn to access the event, you’ll check in at the ESPN Zone. While there, you can purchase the metal Batuuan Spira Gift Card before being directed to the preview. That gift card can then be redeemed at the Trading Post and other participating Disney locations.
A credit card is required at the time of booking and a cancellation fee of $10 will be charged if you fail to cancel at least one day prior to your reservation.
When we checked, there were still some reservations available. So, if you want to make your reservation, be sure to do so quickly while there are still some open!
We’ll keep checking for more updates about this location and give you all the updates once we’re able to visit it!

People are sufferring from Pandemic Fatique, just reading about making a res and bringing 1 guest only and paying $ 10.00 to reserve your spot, cancel 24 hrs prior to pay cancel fee, its all just TOO MUCH, FOR A STORE – STOP with the rules, just have a soft opening – have passholder preview – but don’t charge people, thats just in poor taste Disney.
