We’re almost halfway through February, which means we’re just a few weeks away from EPCOT’s most beautiful festival, the Flower and Garden Festival!
With this festival comes delicious and creative outdoor kitchens, plenty of fun nature activities, and several stunning topiary displays and gardens around the park. We’re noticing that Disney is starting to prepare for the festival a little early (Festival of the Arts hasn’t even ended yet!), and today we spotted a really big addition in the Italy Pavilion!
When we headed back to EPCOT’s Italy Pavilion today, we were surprised to see a LOT of flowers on the central stage.
Seriously, guys, it’s like Home Depot’s whole gardening department up in here! They’re all in little planters lined up perfectly on the steps.
We were surprised, but it was definitely a good surprise. The rows of beautiful colors are a stunning addition to the pavilion, and it brings a great pop of color!
We’re not sure if these flowers are here for the festival or not, although that would likely be a safe guess. However, the only garden listed to be in the Italy Pavilion is the “Garden Italiano,” filled with produce and herbs needed to make a classic Italian feast.
We don’t know about you, but these don’t really look like “produce and herbs” to us.
Either way, this display has us getting really excited about the upcoming festival. We’ll be there on opening day to share all the important details and food reviews with all of you!

Looks great. I have gone every year, multiple times during the event for the past 10 years. It was easy to pop in and out every week with an annual pass. But no more annual passes. it looks like I will have to see this years festival thru the lens of DFB… keep the pictures no video coming

I would put money on those flowers being there to keep people from gathering to sit on the steps
