Souvenirs are a great way to commemorate your Disney World vacation and bring some of the magic home.
Every day Disney is releasing new plush, clothes, accessories, ears, and more (seriously, they’ll find a way to put the Disney touch on almost anything). We spend a lot of our days at the parks searching through all the stores to bring you what’s new and, we’ve seen A LOT over the years! Though there are a lot of great souvenirs that have guests shelling out TONS of money when they visit, there are also some that were more…well…unique. You’ll see what we mean!
Pandora Windbreaker
Pandora — The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the home to two attractions themed after the movie. Na’vi River Journey is a boat tour through the beautiful bioluminescent rainforest. As you travel down the river, you come upon the Na’vi Shaman of Songs, which showcases Disney’s impressive audio-animatronic skills and is mesmerizing to watch.
Well, Disney came out with a truly unforgettable souvenir that was meant to capture the moments you wish the boat would slow down for — the Pandora Windbreaker.
Featuring bright purple-y pink sleeves, the front of the windbreaker has the floating mountains and glowing flora and fauna that you’ll find as the sun sets in Pandora. But, it’s what’s on the back of the windbreaker that is truly remarkable.
Yuuuuup. You can rock your love of the Shaman of Songs on your back. 😂 So for all the Shaman of Song stans out there, you know…this exists.
We must say, it’s not often that bright color choices are the SUBTLE part of a clothing item, but here we are! If you are a ride or die Na’vi River Journey fan, this was practically made for you. Us? We’re just over here waiting for our “Uh, fly!” guy windbreakers.
DARE. TO. DREAM. 😂 You still might be able to see this with your own eyes at Windtraders, Pandora’s merchandise shop!

Single Rider T-Shirt
Whenever you ride an attraction at Disney World, Cast Members ask how many riders are in your party. 1, 2, 5, 10, etc? They’re just trying to get you situated in the best seat. But, if you’re looking to upgrade from single rider to party of two, this shirt lets you put your relationship status on display!
Don’t go singing “All By Myself” quite yet. If you’re out there and looking for love in magical places, this shirt got your back (literally!). Now you can walk the park and find your Disney boo! You don’t have to say a word — let your shirt do the talking. “Dear guests of Disney World, I’m single and looking to mingle!” Honestly, maybe not a bad tactic! 😂

Bo Peep Dress
Toy Story 4 was a big hit for Pixar fans and we got to see Bo Peep taking on a larger role in the movie. Instead of a big dress to herd sheep, Bo Peep upgraded her wardrobe with a stylish jumpsuit to take on her next adventure. Cause seriously — WHAT gal is running and jumping in a floofy petticoat? Pants all the way, Bo Peep!
Disney released a dress (well, jumpsuit) that looks very similar to the one in the film, but we’re still trying to figure out how we feel about it. Do we love it? Hate it? We’re still not sure!
The two-piece ensemble lets you create two looks in one with the removable polka-dotted skirt. (And by “skirt” we mean more like a cross between a skirt and an apron!) So, you can wear it as a dress with the skirt around your waist, or you can wear it how it’s supposed to be worn…AS A CAPE. Yes. We know there’s a lot to unpack here.
The cape doesn’t match the one worn by Bo Peep in the movie but instead matches her more traditional dress on the outside and the jumper pattern on the inside. People tend to wear things in the parks they might not sport back home, so this might have had some fans in the theme parks. BUT, as for us, we likely won’t be spotted walking around Target in this fancy Bo Peep romper! (Plus, just putting this out there…how on earth do you tastefully use the restroom in this?!) This is, in every sense, FASHUN, but make it Disney. 🙂

The Initial Baby Yoda Merchandise
The Baby Yoda obsession started STRONG when The Mandalorian first premiered on Disney+. Fans were immediately scouring the internet for the cute little bundle of green but there wasn’t much merchandise quite yet. A surprise from Disney since we can normally count on them to release shelves FULL of plushes, action figures, and more with (and sometimes before) a premiere. Remember — Baby Yoda was a SURPRISE so they didn’t want him being leaked too soon! If toys or merch got out in the wild before that episode aired, it wouldn’t have been such a reveal!
Well, they eventually responded with t-shirts, bags, phone cases, and mugs featuring — drumroll please — the same ONE grainy, blurry image of Baby Yoda… .
You could get Baby Yoda on a white t-shirt, a green t-shirt, a pink one — literally every color imaginable but still only ONE IMAGE. Here he is on another shirt…
…and a mug…
…and a canvas tote.
This merch wasn’t the high quality we typically see in Disney. It looked like someone in the merchandise department downloaded a low-res screenshot from the show and was like “Quick, slap this on EVERYTHING!”. It wasn’t exactly what fans of The Mandalorian were hoping for but, hey, we still love the little green alien! And, Disney has redeemed themselves over and over again with some seriously adorable Baby Yoda merchandise since then.

Disney Villains Meme Mugs
Every once in a while, Disney ventures into the meme realm to bring fans a good laugh or two. And, hey, we’re all for a good Disney meme, but this line of Disney Villains Meme Mugs is just a little too stereotypical to be funny. Of all the items on this list, we actually like these the most.
Even villains need a group text to feel a sense of community, but apparently, you need to be careful what you send because it might trigger the most over-the-top reaction.
Do you even “unsubscribe” from group texts? 😂 Don’t you just leave the text thread? Either way, we get it Jafar, you’re a meanie.
And, the Maleficent Meme Mug tackles a problem that a lot of us face in the workplace — meetings. Ah yes, a two-hour meeting where nothing really gets accomplished…we all know the feeling.
But Maleficent is quite upfront and is spitting fire after wasting her time on what could have been an email. Could you imagine actually sitting in a meeting with this mug?! (But for real though — SAMES, Mal.)
These are only two of the Villains meme mugs in the collection. So, if you want more, you can check them out here!

Haunted Mansion Door Hanger
Happy haunts materialized on this Haunted Mansion Door Hanger…or did they? We couldn’t help but giggle when we caught Disney’s typo up for grabs at Magic Kingdom. This door hanger likely passed through a lot of hands before hitting the shelves but the 999 happy haunts kept them from spotting the missing “o.”
It’s FOOLISH (thanks, spellcheck) that they can’t spell “foolish.” We keep hearing the Ghost Host bellow “Welcome Folish Mortals!” Bahaha! This isn’t the first spelling error we’ve seen Disney make, and it just goes to show that even at Disney, mistakes happen!

Bubble Blowers
So, we’re not really cringing looking at this souvenir itself, but once you’ve dealt with a bubble blower, you’ll know why it’s making the list. If you have kids, you’re probably familiar with the amount of begging that goes on to get one of these bad boys. Kids are pretty much obsessed with the Bubble Blowers in the parks. And, we get it — they can play music, blow thousands of bubbles per minute, AND they even LIGHT UP!
The trouble comes minutes after you’ve purchased the bubble blower and your kid has already blown through the bottle of bubbles before you’ve even put your wallet away. Then, you go on the hunt for more bubbles because it’s not a very good bubble blower if there are no bubbles to blow!
Once you’ve got a good supply of bubbles to refill, you then have to walk around pushing a stroller with bubbles pouring out and then venture on Disney transportation. Ever been on a Disney World bus at the end of the night and it suddenly lights up like a rainbow and fills with bubbles? It’s…jarring. 😂 Plus, why oh why didn’t Disney design these with a MUTE BUTTON?
AND, getting these home is a job in itself. While the wand may not be producing bubbles anymore, it somehow seeps solution EVERYWHERE when you pack it away (that tubing that sucks up the bubbles leaks once the bottle is detached). So, we’re really just cringing at the process that comes with this Disney toy.

This comment is in reference to the bubble blowers. It was out of control on our last trip. We were bombarded by several children playing with these everywhere we went. My husband said, “if I getting hit by these bubbles all day, do I still have to take a shower?” I guess they were popular because of the lack of night time activities. Normally, if you have night time activities, kids gravitate to the glow in the dark toys.

If I was ‘goofy’ tired and sitting on a darkened Disney bus, all I would need to start uncontrolled laughing would be for a couple musical bubble wands to start shooting oodles of bubbles all over the bus!

It’s the ridiculously long mannequin fingers for me 🧐
