There is a LOT of refurbishment and construction going on or set to take place soon all around Disney World.
Lots of hotel pools are getting some love, several attractions are down for refurbishment, other attractions are set to undergo some refurbishment soon,  we’ve spotted some scrims covering up part of the castle stage in Magic Kingdom, and Kali River Rapids is closed for refurbishment in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Now, ANOTHER ride has joined the refurbishment list — and this time, it’s over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Starting on March 8th, It’s Tough to Be a Bug at Animal Kingdom will close for refurbishment.
This refurbishment is very short, however. The ride will reopen to guests on March 12th, 2021.
So, if you’re headed to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in March, keep in mind that this attraction will be down during that short period of time. Also, be aware that refurbishment schedules can change. So, if this is a must-do for you, be sure to check for more updates as your trip gets closer.
Just a reminder that also at Animal Kingdom, Kali River Rapids is already down for refurbishment and is not set to reopen until April. But, 2 new experiences will also be coming to Animal Kingdom soon — both of which are inspired by Disney’s upcoming movie Raya and the Last Dragon.Â
We’ll keep an eye out for more refurbishment news and let you know what we see!
