We spent a lovely and CROWDED holiday weekend in Magic Kingdom.
Lots of folks love to spend their holidays in Magic Kingdom and boy did it show this Valentine’s AND Presidents’ Day weekend. We’re bringing you all of the latest in food, construction, and merchandise from Disney World’s flagship park!
As we mentioned, the crowds were pretty significant this weekend. Here’s a glimpse of the group that gathered during a Character Cavalcade on Valentine’s Day.
We’d go so far as to say that this is one of the busiest days we’ve seen since the parks reopened.

Monday was pretty similar with heavy crowds throughout the day.
Today, though, crowds had begun to lighten up as the holiday crowds disperse a bit.

Aloha Isle
Over at Aloha Isle, we noticed that the new Tiki Sipper is available for $10.99!
We spotted this cute souvenir over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and we’re so glad we can pick it up here too! It comes with a Dole Whip Pineapple Float inside.

Cinderella Castle
On to the construction updates! Cinderella Castle has bushes and scrim out in front of it now.Â
For now, it seems that just some standard stage maintenance is taking place.

Peter Pan’s Flight
Peter Pan’s Flight has had construction walls and scrim added recently and we saw that more of the building is covered today.
TRON Lightcycle Run
We stopped in to take a look at the progress of TRON Lightcycle Run in Tomorrowland. It looks like workers a removing the supports for the canopy structure on the outdoor portion of the ride!
Bonjour Gifts
The repainting is complete at Bonjour Gifts in Fantasyland and the shop is looking pretty snazzy!
PeopleMover
Perhaps the most exciting news of the day was that we saw PEOPLE ON THE PEOPLEMOVER!
It’s been almost a FULL YEAR since we cruised through Tomorrowland on this baby so we’re certainly hoping that an opening comes soon.
