In case you missed it, Disney California Adventure will be REOPENING for a ticketed food festival event in mid-March, even though Disneyland Resort as we typically know it is expected to remain closed through at LEAST March.
Of course, we’re excited to explore this beloved 20-year-old park again in more depth, but this ticketed event also means another thing: about 1,000 Cast Members will be returning to work! And now, we have an idea of what areas of the park will be reopened.
According to a Facebook post from Workers United Local 50, a union representing Disneyland Resort’s food service workers, Food and Beverage operations will expand into Cars Land, Pacific Wharf, Pixar Pier, and Grizzly Peak!
Furthermore, Buena Vista Street operations will be open as well as six market place booths along the parade route.
As a part of this, furloughed Cast Members are in the process of being recalled.
Full details about what restaurants, bars, food booths, and other dining locations across Disney California Adventure is unknown at this time, but when we have more information about this upcoming event, we’ll be sure to fill you in ASAP!

Does it cost to get in or just. Paying for the food?
DFB Sarah says
Mary, no entry fee. You pay for parking and then any food or drink you order. 🙂

Hi all!
So I’m assuming it’s just like the Food & Wine yearly celebration…
All the lands will be open but no rides, correct?
And will most of the shops be open in DCA for shopping or only those around Buena Vista Street like it has been?
Thanks so much!
