We had a very busy day in Disney World today!
It was certainly a gloomy day, but we made the most of it by visiting Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom Lodge! We’re bringing you along with us for our trip allll around Disney World today.
We started our day in the park with a lovely song by the Dapper Dans.
We made a quick stop at Main Street Bakery to snag this WandaVision-inspired frappuccino. And it was delish!
Plus, we got to see a Rainy Day Cavalcade! Check out these Cast Members in their rain gear — they’re certainly prepared for the day.

In this cavalcade, we got to see Mickey…
…along with Minnie and Donald!
We made our way over to Adventureland to take a quick ride on Pirates of the Caribbean.

Then, as we walked through Frontierland, we got to see yet ANOTHER Rainy Day Cavalcade. This time, we were greeted by Disney Princesses!
Our day was truly filled with characters. In Tomorrowland, we encountered Experiment 626, otherwise known as Stitch! He seemed to be taking a break from causing trouble in order to greet some guests instead.
Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we made sure to see some animals. We had a quick visit with some flamingos!
Then, we got up close and personal with the Tree of Life, checking out some of its intricate carvings. What’s your favorite animal to spot on the tree?

The floating mountains in Pandora — The World of Avatar still looked impressive, even among a dark and gloomy sky.
And then, we found what we really needed — a sign for the (fictional) Umbrella Clinic. We sure coulda used this today!
We were lucky enough to have another character spotting — Timon! He floated on by on his boat.

We also stopped by Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge to check out what’s new.
Following the trend of new Cast Member aprons, we spotted yet another one! This time, with a Lion King-inspired design. Check out Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa strutting across that hat!
We also took the opportunity to see what was going on at EPCOT on this rainy day. We checked out some chalk art as part of the International Festival of the Arts!
As this festival begins to wind down, we’re seeing more and more signs that the 2021 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival is not far away. This completely adorable panda topiary has appeared at the China Pavilion.
We also saw a spice garden in place at the Morocco Pavilion.
As always, we were on the lookout for testing being done at the Harmonious barges, in preparation for EPCOT’s upcoming nighttime spectacular.
And that’s a wrap on our rainy day in Disney World! We hope you enjoyed coming along for the ride. Follow us on Instagram or Twitter for daily updates and photos from the parks! And as always, check back with us for more Disney news.
We found a MINI Spaceship Earth in EPCOT!
