It’s been a rocky year for Hong Kong Disneyland.
Hong Kong Disneyland was one of the earlier parks to close due to the COVID-19 pandemic, originally shutting down over a year ago in January 2020. The park then reopened six months later in June, but only for a short time, closing again in July due to a rising number of cases. Then, in September 2020, the park reopened for a second time, only to close a few months later for the third time on December 1st. But, today we have big news for fans waiting to get back into the park.
Hong Kong Disneyland will officially reopen on February 19th, 2021.
Safety measures at Hong Kong Disneyland are expected to remain. Social distancing and other health measures are likely to continue to be implemented, including mask requirements.
The park has been celebrating its 15th Anniversary in modified ways throughout the year, including a virtual birthday party. Guests can also admire the new Castle of Magical Dreams.
