OH BOY. If you’ve ever dreamed of a house that felt like a Disney explosion, do we have the home for you to see!
Last year, we found a beautiful home that could make you part of Disney history for a cool $2.5 million. The home we’re sharing a look at now sold at a MUCH lower price point and looks completely unassuming from the outside. But, believe us when we say it is a TOTALLY different story on the inside.
The home is located in Anaheim, California and was built in 1961. The Miami Herald shared a peek at this home, but we also went to the Realtor.com website for the property to get a better look at this almost 1800 square foot beauty. Again, from the outside this home looks like any other house.
You get just a taste of Disney in some spots, like this bathroom that has Disney soap and some Mickey drawer knobs. Small touches, cute, but nothing big and in your face.
This bathroom steps it up just a touch with a Mickey and Minnie shower curtain and some details in the window area. But, again, fairly minor in terms of details.
Visit the house’s backyard and you can see a little bit more of a Disney influence with those Mickey Mouse shapes on the fence. Okay, we’re starting to get somewhere.
There’s a princess room with some light theming. Again, something any normal house might have.
The Mickey Mouse room is also fairly tame in terms of theming.
Then, things go up a couple of notches in the kitchen! You can see the Mickey paper towel holder, Mickey knobs on the cabinets and drawers, exposed Mickey mugs and a tea pot, and more.
But, that’s NOTHING compared to this play room! Is that a MOCK roller coaster?! And GIANT Mickey shoes, legs, and shorts?!?! Okay, now we’re talking!
Don’t worry — Mickey’s hands are there in large form too — you can see them at the back of the room. We’re getting some of the same vibes here as we got with Uniqlo’s Mickey shirt collection.
Mickey room isn’t enough for you? Okay, how about this Peter Pan room?! The walls are COVERED in a tree and leaf design and there are all kinds of other magical little touches, like the painting on the wall of a pirate ship.
Head to the living room and you’ve got even MORE Disney theming like that beautiful design on the wall below the Disneyland logo.
Oh, and there are candy machines and Mickeys everywhere!
Want to have dinner Alice in Wonderland style? That won’t be a problem with this Mad Tea Party themed dining area. There are pots “pouring” tea hanging from the ceiling, different colored chairs, and even a “Rabbit Hole” with a “looking glass” to another room.
Here’s a look at this “looking glass” from the other side.
But, the fun doesn’t stop there! There’s also a whole portion of the wall near the kitchen dedicated to candy dispensers. It’s your very own version of Goofy’s Candy Co.!
The house was even featured on Discovery Channel’s Monster House. It was on the market for $799,000, but actually sold above its asking price in 2021 for $820,000, according to Realtor.com.
If you missed out on buying your dream house, you could totally take inspiration from some of these design ideas and maybe turn your own home into a Mickey Mouse paradise. HELLO giant Mickey shoes and shorts. We’re not really sure if that particular part of the house is creepy or awesome, but we’re going to go with both right now.

Most of the Mickey stuff is small, and will probably be moved when the house sells. You will be stuck with those giant legs, though.

Now this looks like a fun house!!!

Cool… I wish…

For that price, I’d rather buy a house in Golden Oaks at Disney World. This house is a little too gaudy for me. Besides, how much of those Disney Knick knacks are they actually goi g to leave behind?

IS THIS THE HOUSE OF HORRORS? IF NOT, WHAT A HORRIBLE TASTE!!!
I wanted to throw up by the time you got to the kitchen. We can absolutely see that this house IS NOT decorated by a Disney professional decorator.
If someone buys it, my respect. Probably nightmares could be treated by a specialist.
I’m sorry Disney has allowed this franchise of imitation for a house. They must be really scratching the money.
I’m very sorry about this.

Haha, as a kid, I would have gotten WILD in that house! But now that I’m a parent, I’d be worried about the kids breaking unique collection stuff… Still, that’s an once-in-a-lifetime offer, I don’t remember ever seeing something like this house, even on tranio.com which usually has lots of really extravagant villas and castles.
