It feels like only yesterday we were coming at you LIVE from the 2020 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, which was cut drastically short by Disney World’s temporary closures that began just a couple of weeks later. It may be hard to believe, but it’s already time once again for the festival to begin!
As we head into the month of March, let’s take a look at our weekly roundup of Disney World’s park hours and Park Pass Reservation availability for the week of February 28th.
Disney World Park Hours the Week of February 28th
Note that February hours aren’t visible on the March calendar which is why you’ll see the 28th as “blank.” On February 28th, Magic Kingdom will be open from 9AM-7PM, which continues through Thursday, March 4th. On Friday, March 5th, Magic Kingdom will be open from 9AM-8PM, and on Saturday, March 6th, Magic Kingdom will be open from 9AM-10PM.
EPCOT will be open from 11AM-8PM on Sunday, February 28th through Thursday, March 4th. On Friday, March 5th, EPCOT will be open for one additional hour in the evening, from 11AM-9PM. On Saturday, March 6th the park will be open 11AM-11PM. Remember that Wednesday, March 3rd is the first day of the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival (yes, we’re ALREADY at Flower & Garden season!).
Next week, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be open daily from 9AM-7PM (including February 28th, not included in the March calendar below).
Over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the park will be open from 8AM-5PM on Sunday, February 28th through Friday, March 5th. On Saturday, March 6th, Animal Kingdom will be open from 8AM-8PM.
Like this previous week, longer park hours may be an indicating factor that Disney is anticipating higher crowds for the week of February 28th. Keep in mind, that the kickoff of the Flower and Garden Festival could lead to busy days in EPCOT, especially on the weekends!
It’s always an interesting trade-off when it comes to park hours and crowds. We always love extra time in the parks, especially in the evenings! But if spending more time in the parks means we could possibly deal with higher crowds, we want to be aware of that!

Current Disney Park Pass Reservation Availability the Week of February 21st
Across all three ticket types, there appears to be plenty of Park Pass Reservation availability next week! Things could change at any moment, however, so don’t slack on picking up those reservations! Be sure to book them as soon as you know which parks you want to visit on which days!
Disney Resort Guests
For the entire week of February 28th, Disney Resort Guests currently have full Park Pass Reservation availability at each of the four theme parks.
Theme Park Ticket Guests
Theme Park Ticket Guests currently have the same Park Pass Reservation availability as Disney Resort Guests next week — all seven days are completely wide open at all four theme parks!
Annual Passholders
On February 28th, Annual Passholders can currently book a Park Pass Reservation at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.Â
From March 1st through March 5th, Park Pass Reservation availability is wide open at all four theme parks for Annual Passholders! On Saturday, March 6th, Annual Passholders can book a Park Pass Reservation at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Disney recently replenished Park Pass availability for their Annual Passholders in the month of March, which is why you’re seeing so much green on the calendar!
Lots of green means open availability and the possibility for low crowds. By the looks of it, we should see fewer people in the parks than we have in a while.
Look ahead to the week of March 14th, there’s lots of yellow in those Park Pass Reservation calendars! If you’re traveling to the parks in mid-March, be aware that those spring break crowds could be traveling to Disney World right alongside you! Be sure to pick up those Park Pass Reservations as soon as you are able to, and keep an eye on DFB for any news regarding park hours!
