Even at the most magical place on earth, things occasionally happen.
Ride animatronics often fail, rides have to be evacuated, and Dole Whips get abandoned and left out to melt in the hot Florida sun (yeah, we’re still not over that!). Every day at Disney World can’t be perfect!
But Disney World does its best to get things back to perfect when something goes wrong. Yesterday, we noticed a broken window on Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom.
The broken window is one of a series of windows above Main Street Bakery dedicated to Walt Disney’s nephew, Roy E. Disney, and his family. The family loved to sail, which is why the windows have a nautical theme. The center window has Roy’s name, with the windows below named after his wife, Patty, and their children, Roy, Patrick, Abigail, Susan, and Timothy.
The window above Susan and Timothy’s name was the one broken. But today, we noticed that the window has been repaired.
Now everything looks great again!
We still have no information on what caused the window to break, but if we find out, we’ll let you know.
