We’re kicking off Women’s History Month in Disney Springs!
The brand-new “Celebrate HER Story” event will last all through March, and it’ll spotlight talented women with stories to tell. We’ve already seen some signs advertising the event, and we even tried the first of several themed snacks. But now, we’re back with another new treat!
We found Women’s History Month Flancocho in Amorette’s Patisserie and just had to give it a taste! It’s a chocolate-based flan topped with a tiny macaron, meringue, dried strawberry, AND caramel sauce. Not to mention, it’s decorated to order. Check out how stunning the presentation of our treat was!
Right off the bat, the chocolate base and vanilla custard were both VERY rich. It was almost overwhelming — we think the chocolate could’ve been eliminated completely.

While this wasn’t our favorite treat of all time, if you’re a flan fan, this snack will probably be a win. Don’t like the texture of flan? Maybe stay away from this one! Overall, we’re gonna say this treat looked better than it tasted. But that doesn’t mean it won’t become a favorite for some.
You can try this Flancocho for $7 at Amorette’s Patisserie. We’ll keep an eye out for more Women’s History Month treats in Disney World! Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news and updates.

In your list of toppings I think you meant meringue instead of madeleine .
