Happy MARCH, y’all! As we spring into a new month, we’re peeking once again at what Salt & Straw in Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney District is scooping up for seasonal flavors!
Five flavors from the Vault Series have been re-released for a limited time. And one of those flavors — Brown Ale and Bacon Ice Cream — is getting the spotlight as Salt & Straw has shared a “Behind the Scoops” look at how it’s made!
The name of the game at Salt & Straw is unique flavors of handmade, small batch ice cream utilizing local, organic, and sustainable ingredients. And as a reminder, the current Vault Series flavors also include: Strawberry Tres Leches, Cinnatopia Cinnamon Bun, Salted Caramel Cupcake, and Lemon Cheesecake Crumble.
Salt & Straw shares that the Brown Ale and Bacon “marked our first-ever collaboration with a local brewery, now a favorite of ours, and presented the challenge on how to mimic their brewing process in ice cream.” Check out the video they shared on Instagram (@saltandstraw) for this “Behind the Scoops” look at how it’s made.
