The St. Patrick’s Day treats have officially arrived in Disney World!

We’ve been diving straight into these seasonal snacks, from cupcakes to panna cotta to Shamrock Shakes! And over at Dino-Bite Snacks at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, one of our favorite treats is BACK for another year.

We’re pretty thrilled to see the St. Patrick’s Day Ice Cream Sandwich make its glorious return! It’s back on the menu with a fresh new name — it was simply the Mint-Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwich last year.

But despite the new name, this snack still looks the same! It comes with TWO double chocolate chip cookies with a giant dollop of mint-chocolate ice cream in between. Plus, there’s plenty of Shamrock Sprinkles to get in the St. Paddy’s Day spirit!

We were HUGE fans of this treat last year, so of course, we had to try it to see if it still lived up to its reputation. And even though it had some big shoes to fill, it succeeded!

Like last year, the cookie was soft and chewy perfection. It’s a sharp contrast to the peppermint version of this treat, which was disappointingly stale (don’t worry Peppermint Ice Cream Sammie, we still love you!). But WOW were the cookies great on this snack.

Let’s talk ice cream. Mint chocolate chip fans are gonna be ALL OVER this treat. That ice cream flavor complemented the chunky chocolate cookie so well. It’s a pretty perfect match if we do say so ourselves!
