Spring is RIGHT around the corner, and a new season means one thing. — No, not warmer weather or Easter — it means there are new SEASONAL menu items!
Walt Disney World isn’t the only place with new food and drinks for spring, Starbucks is getting in on the action too!
Today, Starbucks added Oatly oatmilk to its menus nationwide, and celebrated shaking things up with two new dairy-free drinks: the Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso and Iced Chocolate Almondmilk Shaken Espresso.
You know we can’t resist a new Starbucks menu item. We’d already sampled the oatmilk drink today, so we decided to try another new drink for a midday pick-me-up at The Trolley Car Café at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (which serves Starbucks!). We got the Iced Chocolate Almondmilk Shaken Espresso! This drink is made with blonde espresso and cocoa with notes of malt. It’s then shaken together and topped with almondmilk and ice!
Our reporter felt like this espresso had a funky after-taste, though she was also new to almondmilk. However, she did enjoy the chocolate flavor in this drink and thought it might be better with oatmilk or another dairy option. Our reporter preferred the oatmilk drink from earlier in the day but if you’re an almondmilk person, this is definitely worth a shot!
Like oatmilk, almondmilk is found on Starbucks menus nationwide! So you can get any latte with it at Starbucks across Walt Disney World. Starbucks locations include: Creature Comforts at Animal Kingdom, The Trolley Car Café at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Traveler’s Cafe at EPCOT, Main Street Bakery at Magic Kingdom, and two spots at Disney Springs!
It’s exciting that there’s more plant-based options for caffeine fixes across Disney World! And when more come up, we’ll be sure to let you know where to find them!

The funky aftertaste is the malt. If you don’t know, expect, or like the taste of malt, this may surprise and/or disgust you. Mine had a strong malt flavor, and I loved it.
