UPDATE: The virtual queue has resumed! Posted wait time is currently over an hour.
It’s been a whirlwind of a day if you’re trying to get tickets for Disney California Adventure’s A Touch of Disney!
The virtual queue opened a little while ago, and we did a happy dance because tickets were finally on sale! As we sat dreaming about all the Disneyland Resort snacks we could eat, we realized our wait time was over an HOUR. But now, we have ANOTHER update.
The virtual queue has now been PAUSED. On the website, Disney now states that they are “temporarily unable to sell more tickets.” They do note that once they can sell again, the queue will reopen.
Good news! These tickets are NOT sold out. Disney clarifies that “tickets are still available.” So hang tight and DON’T leave the queue — your spot is still being held!
Better pour another cup of coffee and keep waiting! We’re right there with ya.

When you CAN buy tickets, they’re $75 each and include admission, parking, unlimited PhotoPass downloads, AND a $25 dining card. The event starts March 18th, 2021, and will run on Thursdays through Mondays from 12PM-8PM.
We’ll keep you posted with the latest A Touch of Disney updates, so stay tuned to DFB!

Would you suggest keeping the pause screen open until it opens up again?

Now that Newsom is allowing theme parks to open on April 1 at 15% capacity and other restrictions, what’s going to happen to this event? How far in advance have people been able to buy tickets to the Touch of Disney. They can’t open the Park to regular visitors during this event, so now what? This event was a good idea, but now it’s going to push back when Disneyland will be able to try and reopen. (I can’t say I agree with the Calif resident restriction , but that’s not Disney’s choice)

Okay, I’m answering my own comment. I found out that this event is going on through April 19. So, that’s not bad. Disney will have time to figure out how to open “fully” by then. Sounds good to me.
