The day has FINALLY come for Blizzard Beach to reopen at Disney World, and in spite of the temperature, you better believe we’re at the water park all day, taking in the sights, the sounds, and the new flavors!

As we were walking around the park for the first time in a long time, we noticed there were refillable mugs! But there was something a bit different about this refillable mug process compared to what we’ve seen since Disney World’s initial reopening.
Ever since Disney World reopened last year, one thing that changed a lot is the concept of refillable mugs.

For $11.99, you can purchase one of these vibrant, character-clad mugs and use it (and re-use it) all day long, visiting Refill Stations to re-up on your drink of choice! We found this one at the Cooling Hut.

But here’s the catch: unlike what we’ve seen at the theme parks and resorts, Cast Members do NOT fill the mugs for you. That’s right, now when you buy one of these mugs at Blizzard Beach, you fill them yourselves at Refill Stations.

Does anyone know if you can bring the ones you already own with you now? They used to do that in pre covid times. We have so many mugs, would hate to have to buy any more. The mugs are definitely worth it if you plan on making a day out of the water park!
Alaysia, I believe you can bring an old refillable mug back to the water parks to be reactivated. You’ll pay the reuse fee (I think it’s $8.99). Have fun!
