PHOTOS! 50th Anniversary Decor ALREADY on Cinderella Castle in Disney World!

It may only be March, but the 50th anniversary of Disney World is closer than we think!

Starting on October 1st, there will be an 18-month long celebration with new overlays to each Disney World park icon, new character outfits, and more! Now, some of the decor for this magical event is ALREADY out on display!

Cinderella Castle has been kind of a hot mess lately with the stage being torn apart and the moat being drained (likely for installation), but now one of the absolutely stunning banners is up on this Magic Kingdom icon.

Just yesterday, we got a sneak peek at these “EARidescent” banners from Imagineer Zach Riddley, and even though they were gorgeous on video, they are even prettier in person. We love all of the intricate details and we can’t wait to see what the colors look like when the sun hits them just right.

The 50th is still months away, but it looks like Disney is getting a head start on the decorating. After all, this is likely to be one of the biggest celebrations we’ve seen at Disney World! Here’s a look at what the castle will look like in the daytime once complete.
