Disney Cruise Line is taking a step towards preparing to resume operations.
Last year, Disney Cruise Line suspended all new departures beginning March 14th, 2020. And just shy of the one-year anniversary of the suspension, Disney has started casting for several character roles onboard Disney Cruise Line.
Since the initial suspension of cruising, Disney Cruise Line has continued to extend its closure, with sailings currently canceled through August of this year. Disney Cruise Line recently announced that they hoped to resume limited operations by Fall 2021.
Now, Disney is searching for Character Look-Alike Performers for roles onboard the cruise ships. According to the Disney Careers website, Disney Cruise Line is now accepting photo submissions for future performance opportunities including entertainment events, meet & greets, and staged appearances.
Disney is currently casting for the roles of Mulan, Jasmine, and Moana. The posting states that submissions will be accepted through March 21, 2021, but it does not list an anticipated start date for the roles.
We will continue to keep an eye out for any further updates on Disney Cruise Line operations, so stay tuned for all of the latest news!
