It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day, and you know what that means… .

The Wave Lounge
There are LOTS of green drinks and treats to try in Disney World! We’ve been making our way around the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs where so far we’ve tried a Shamrock Sour, a Peppermint Patti, and more. But today, we spotted 3 new drinks in Disney World to celebrate the holiday a little early!
We headed over to Disney’s Contemporary Resort to check on the latest updates, and when we visited The Wave Lounge, we noticed 3 specialty cocktails for St. Patrick’s Day! We decided to try the bottom two since they sounded the most intriguing.

Cocktail Menu
That means we tried the Sour Leprechaun and the Emerald Mimosa. The Sour Leprechaun is made with Jameson, St. Germain, Lemon Juice, and Agave.

Sour Leprechaun
This was our favorite drink of the two that we tried! It is both sweet and tangy, and you can barely taste the alcohol. We thought the lemon juice and St. Germain went really well together.

Sour Leprechaun
Overall, we really had no complaints on this drink and we think most people would enjoy it! Those who prefer fruity drinks will enjoy the fruity and sweet flavor, while those who like a basic alcoholic drink enjoy it for its simplicity.

Sour Leprechaun
The second drink is the Emerald Mimosa which consists of Gruet Sparkling Wine, Blue Curacao, and Orange Juice.

Emerald Mimosa
Disney loves to use Blue Curacao in cocktails, so we weren’t shocked to see it in one of these drinks. The orange juice stood out in this drink the most and it was another tangy and sweet drink.

Emerald Mimosa
The Blue Curacao is more for show than for taste. We could barely taste it, but it put the “emerald” in the emerald mimosa! It really did taste like a regular mimosa (which we didn’t mind), but we ended up liking the Sour Leprechaun more. If you love mimosas, you would probably enjoy this, but if you aren’t a fan then you’ll want to stay away.

Emerald Mimosa
Both of these drinks are $14 each and currently available at The Wave Lounge in Disney’s Contemporary Resort. We’ll continue trying out the St. Patrick’s Day snacks and drinks around Disney World, so stay tuned for reviews!
