Let’s face it — price increases happen from time to time at Disney World.
We’ve seen some pretty major price increases at LOADS of Disney World restaurants over the past year.
Of course, these price increases also impact your favorite park snacks like Mickey Bars and Spring Rolls.
The price of two spring rolls went from $7.50 to a whopping $9.50! That’s an increase of $2!
And keep in mind that while we love these things, they aren’t very big or filling. So $9.50 feels like a lot.
So we asked YOU what you thought about this rise in cost. And you almost overwhelmingly said it was too much! In fact, 71% of you, our readers, agreed that two spring rolls were NOT worth $9.50. Only 29% said it was worth it.
Now we get it — we love those spring rolls, but that’s a pretty big increase. These snacks have been a favorite of ours here at DFB for a while. They’re small, but they’re also crunchy, just the right amount of greasy, and totally delicious.
Our favorites are the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls but we’ve enjoyed pretty much ALL of the flavors!
You’ll most commonly find Cheeseburger and Pepperoni Pizza, but in the past, we’ve seen Reuben Spring Rolls, Cuban Spring Rolls, Pastrami Spring Rolls, Bacon Macaroni and Cheese Spring Rolls, and more!
We’re not saying this price increase is going to stop us from ever filling our Cheeseburger and Pizza Rolls cravings, but it may make us rethink how often we do! Follow us on Instagram so you can give us your thoughts on things happening in the parks!
And stay tuned, because we will continue to cover price changes at Disney World and let you know what we find!

With buying them after the price that enables continued increases in food, hotels and tickets. Not to mention they now charge to park while staying at their resorts and no magic bands are included. I have canceled my last 3 trips due to the ticket prices.
It is becoming a rich person’s playground.
Sarah says
Honestly, we tried them last March when they were cheaper and we’re not impressed with them then. They were okay, but for the price there are many other things to buy for that same price range that are better. I for sure won’t be buying them at $9.50 and especially when they’re not a snack credit. It’s a pass for me.

Y’all have got to stop with the dramatics. So what if the spring rolls are going up $2.00. Yes, they are good but it is up to individuals if they want to pay it. It is not earth shattering or news worthy.
Eric says
Seems like Disney raising the prices to make up for pandemic losses. Not sure that is the right strategy. Other destinations are much more financially inviting.
Ken says
Not worth it, for a crummy greasy pizza hot pocket in filo dough
Jason A Violette says
71% of those replying on the survey may not approve of the price increase, but when we were there last weekend, there was still a HUGE line at the cart waiting for them. Guess that means people don’t approve of the price increase, but are still willing to pay the price for them.
BigDaddy1231 says
Yet you guys will still buy it, grumbling all the way.
Robert kaiser says
Don’t buy them and-price will be less effective
Jason Taylor says
We have to NOT buy them. Send Disney a message. If they have no sales, they will reduce the price.

I hate to say it. I think the price hike could be because of your YouTube channel. You hype them up, people go and buy, Disney see that they are becoming a cult favorite and they are capitalizing on it. Same with all the “secret menu” items you discuss. They are not a secret anymore .

Shame on Disney I was there last week the cost of food it terrible. I had to do mobile orders and with all the people waiting on their orders my food was cold and any fries I got were stone cold and rubbery. The added cost doesn’t justify poor food. And some of the attractions were closed and those that were open had wait times of every bite of 75 – 100 minutes wait times. There was more than 35% capacity in that park.
Bill says
we were in WDW Mar 7-13 . What I found discouraging is that along with the rise in prices was a fall in quality across the board and across all parks. Former Park favorites fell flat being stale and/or cold.

Another Scrooge McDuck decision to go with the one ending the Magic Express. Will I ever cease to be surprised? Signed a Disney stockholder that wonders about Disney logic at times.

$9.50!!
I wish I could put that in all caps.
Those spring rolls are Teeny Tiny. They aren’t even big enough to share.
So now Disney is saying that they are worth as much as a Foot Long Hot dog?
That’s absolute garbage.
Joann says
7.50 was to much and they increased them to 9.50 forget I don’t think people will buy them.
Matt Walker says
I go to Disney all of the time, and I cannot remember the last time i saw the price of food go up. It is not like we should expect the company to never change things. I for one am glad they re-opened the Spring Rolls.
former premier passholder says
As an annual passholder, I made two trips per year to WDW. The prices of food, along with everything else, went up on each trip, so this is no surprise. Disney doesn’t stop the gouging, whether or not it is reasonable. The last straw was when the price of my premier pass increased twice in one year, once when Disney World passes increased, and shortly after when the Disneyland prices increased. That was over $500 in a year. With the limited offerings and increased prices for everything, as well as the elimination of perks, it will be a while before I return to Disney World.

We bring our own snacks. Disney has gotten out of hand with the cost on snacks…. ice cream bars included. Waiting for the fast pass to start charging for it. Ridiculous prices all over the place.
Bernadette says
Boy AJ you guys are really hung up on those spring rolls. You talk about it a lot. GET OVER IT! Just don’t buy them. EVERYTHING in the world is expensive. Geeezzzz

With all the negatives about Disney being Plastered all over the internet, I just don’t understand the volume of people still flocking to the Parks. The only solution to Disney changing course is a drop in attendance! I long for the day’s of Discounts & Free Dining Offers…..Will we ever See them Again ???

Price increases never worth it to the guest/customer only the seller. Bob Chapek

Tim Tracker turned my daughter and I onto these things! So glad he did. DFB perfectly described, little bit of the right greasy and crunch. We’re locals and AP’s and this is one junk food snack we’ll drop the $9 for. Want the Reuben roll again!
Carolyn says
Was it two years ago the rolls went up from $5 to $7.50? We went for the 50th and had hear on the Disney Food Blog about this.
