Alright folks, you may want to sit down for this one. We’ve seen some bizarre Disney World souvenirs over the years, but nothing quite compares to what you can find at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
While we were checking out Wilderness Lodge Mercantile today to scope out the latest must-haves, we came across our favorite collection of chapsticks.
We’re usually the ones recommending that you make sure you bring your chapstick with you to Disney World, especially these days when face masks can wear out your skin. But never in our wildest dreams did we imagine we would come across THESE flavors of chapstick. We’ve spotted these oddities at Wilderness Lodge in the past, but we can’t help but giggle every time we visit.
Yes, that tube of chapstick reads “Ferret Farts.” But no, oh no, the fun doesn’t stop there. The collection also includes Moose Spit…
…Beaver Butt…
…and Bear Breath.
But don’t worry…in case you were fooled, it wasn’t actually made with Bear Breath. Phew! If you take a look at the ingredients list, you’ll find some less scary things like Coconut Oil, Mint, and Beeswax.
Disney is keen on making sure a lot of vacation essentials are well stocked in their resort hotel gift shops, so next time you forget to pack your chapstick, swing by Wilderness Lodge Mercantile and pick up some Beaver Butt! 😉

Believe me, if you’ve ever had ferrets, you’d know.
Cathy says
I believe these are actually made by Goat Mountain Soap In Canada. They have quite an extensive fragrance list on their website… according to which Ferret Farts are like spiced coffee cake…But having had ferrets, I’d disagree. Anyway they are great products and make fun souvenirs or gag gifts.

Thanks for the info, Cathy!

As soon as I saw the packaging, I knew this had to be the same bunch that make the soaps that they used to sell in the currently-closed shops in the Canada Pavilion. Those are also cute as the dickens.

I wish they smelled like a musk. I had ferrets for years, and love them so much. Would be a wonderful memory.
