What would you do with $50, $100, or even $500 or MORE in onboard credit for your next Disney Cruise Line adventure?
Maybe you could get a few extra souvenirs onboard? Or treat yourself to a day at the spa? Well, we’re going to tell you just how you can get some awesome onboard credit right here!
Disney Cruise Line hopes to resume limited operations by this fall. While we still have a bit of 2021 to get through, Disney Cruise Line is already looking to the future! Recently, Disney Cruise Line announced their 2022 summer itineraries. Well, whether you’re looking to book a cruise for later this year or some time in 2022, you could take advantage of a SUPER great offer and get some onboard credit for FREE!
How do you get this onboard credit? Well, what you’ll want to do is book your cruise with our friends over at Small World Vacations! Right now, Small World Vacations is actually offering a Disney Cruise onboard credit promotion for vacations with a sail date by 12/31/2022.
The credit is given to those who book directly with Small World Vacations while on land. The exact amount of the credit depends on your Disney Cruise Fare. For example, if your Disney Cruise Fare is between $1,000 and $1,999 you could get a $50 credit. As the fare increases, the credit could become larger.
There are also reduced onboard credits that may be available to you if you booked a Disney Cruise reservation or placeholder while onboard a Disney Ship or if you transfer your Disney Cruise reservation to Small World Vacations.
On their website, Small World Vacations notes that there can only be one onboard cruising credit per reservation. Also, keep in mind that unused onboard credit is not redeemable for cash, credit, or refund.
What can you use an onboard credit for? Generally, Small World Vacations notes that it can be used for most valid charges you incur while on the ship including gratuities, alcoholic beverages, Disney organized shore excursions, shipboard and Castaway Cay spa treatments, photographs, souvenirs and activities on Castaway Cay and the Disney Cruise. Just keep in mind that it won’t be valid for purchases in port or shore excursions not organized by Disney Cruise Line.
Other than a fantastic onboard credit, why should you book a cruise or any other vacation with a travel agent? Well, travel agent services are totally FREE. You read that right. They can help you book your next trip at NO ADDITIONAL COST.
Travel agents, especially the ones we recommend at Small World Vacations, can have a great wealth of knowledge about Disney and cruising, so they can answer all of your questions and make your vacation planning totally STRESS-FREE! Whether this is your first or your 10th cruise, it can be helpful to have someone else take care of arranging all the little details.
If you’re looking for a travel agent to work with, we highly recommend our friends over at Small World Vacations. We trust their services, and they have highly-qualified professionals that will really provide you with exceptional service.

Hi, I’m just wondering if we book a Disney Cruise from Port Canaveral and a stay in Disney World independently, can we still book to use the Disney Cruise Line buses from the Port to our Disney Hotel? We want to book the Cruise and Disney World stay separately, as I’m not sure if the land and sea packages will cover the length of stay that we want?
DFB Sarah says
Steph, I believe Disney Cruise Line buses are going to remain in place, but we will keep an eye on things and update as needed.
