We’ve been spotting a lot of Easter eggs around Walt Disney World lately. No, we’re not talking about subtle nods to Imagineers or hidden Mickeys — we’re talking about LITERAL Easter eggs.
Yes, the holiday of bunnies, ducks, and chocolate eggs is back. And, we spotted QUITE the chocolate egg today at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa!
The Grand Floridian is known for its opulent Easter egg displays, and even though Easter is a few weeks away, we spotted the first signs of spring — a take on Renoir’s Dance at Bougival painted in all chocolate!
The detail on this chocolate egg is EGGS-traordinary!
All joke aside, this thing is a BEAUT, and it was all done by the talented team at The Grand Floridian Bakery.
This isn’t the first edible piece of art we’ve seen at The Grand Floridian this month — we also spotted that culinary icon Remy sculpted out of chocolate!
We’re not sure what the extent of The Grand Floridian’s Easter egg display will be this year (we saw a scaled back Christmas display at this resort due to the global health crisis), but when we see more festive décor, we’ll be sure to let you know where to see it for yourself!

We went to the Grand yesterday to see the eggs and at first we were so disappointed! We only saw the one egg!!
We went and asked at bell services and she was able to direct us to other eggs. Which did make it kind of cool. If the created s hunt for them, that would be neat.
We missed Remi as I didn’t realize he was in the restaurant.
There is suppose to be one out side of the entrance to Citricos. It looked like one is coming, but there was not one.
There is an amazing panther at the exit under the grand stair case.
There are three amazing eggs in the dvc building. An Eagle, a small version of the penguin fountain and a Fantasia egg.
They were some of the most beautiful that we have seen at the resorts.
Well worth the searching for.
