We were at Disney California Adventure yesterday for the first official day of A Touch of Disney — a ticketed food and shopping event that takes us inside a full Disneyland theme park for the first time in over a year!
While Buena Vista Street was open to guests for the last few months, this is the first time since March of 2020 where we can explore Pixar Pier, Cars Land, Grizzly Peak, and more! We stopped by Sonoma Terrace to check out their menu, which features return items from California Adventure Food & Wine Festivals as well as a beloved Disneyland dish!
Menu
Sonoma Terrace is one of the dining locations at A Touch of Disney that includes both California Adventure dishes as well as a classic Disneyland Park menu item!
In addition to food, there’s a wide variety of drink options at Sonoma Terrace. So let’s dive right in and see what’s in store!
Food
While we have a hard time picking favorites, we’re probably the MOST excited about the Toasted Cheese Sandwich with Tomato Soup from Jolly Holiday over at Disneyland! This is a quintessential Disneyland dish so we are thrilled that it’s a part of A Touch of Disney. This classic Disneyland duo is available at Sonoma Terrace for $8.50!
You can also grab the Mini Meatball Sub! You can usually find the full size version of this sub throughout the year, including during California Adventure’s annual Food and Wine Festival. These subs are mighty tasty if you get them while they’re fresh, but beware if you order this on a blazing hot day — not the best idea to send a heavy meatball sub into your belly!
The Mini Meatball Sub is available for $8. Another classic California Adventure food item available at Sonoma Terrace is their Bavarian Pretzel — be sure to add that cup of cheese for an extra dollar (or do what we did and add FOUR cups of cheese for $4)!
The pretzel by itself costs $7 — totally worth it in our opinion to shell out $8 and have it come with a side of cheese. It’s a great snack to share with a friend or two!
Drinks
Sonoma Terrace is always a great go-to option in Disney California Adventure for an assortment of beer, wine, and cocktails — and A Touch of Disney is no exception to that rule! This location in particular has a few returning cocktails: the Sparkling Greyhound and Pineapple Passion. The Sparkling Greyhound is a Vodka Cocktail with flavors of Grapefruit, Chamomile and Cardamom. It’s available for $14.
If you’re looking for something with some tropical vibes, the Pineapple Passion may be for you! This cocktail is a mixture of White Rum with flavors of Pineapple and Passionfruit. It also costs $14.
We’ll be bringing you even more coverage from A Touch of Disney in the coming weeks, so be sure to follow along as we bring you the latest from Disney California Adventure!
