We love sharing quick ‘n’ easy Disney snacks you may not have heard about before!
And while we’re ALL about those seasonal eats and specialty sips, there’s lots of “ordinary” food that could make a perfect pit stop. We hopped over to the Joy of Tea in EPCOT’s China Pavilion to give one a try, and spoiler: it was pretty tasty!
Introducing…the Salt and Pepper Popcorn Chicken! There’s nothing fancy goin’ on here: you’ll get a plate of popcorn chicken with some bok choy for $7.95. But BOY was it good! (And yup, we reviewed that strawberry drink for ya too!).
There was a good amount of breading on the popcorn chicken — it reminded us of a Disney chicken nugget without all that crunch. Yum, right?!
The flavor was fantastic. If you prefer your wings seasoned instead of sauced, these were MADE for you. And if you’re a salt and pepper fan, you’ll love the taste. But although that bok choy on the side was nice and crispy, it had NO flavor. We’re not sure it added anything to the plate.
We’ll be honest: while these were SO good (seriously, we can’t say that enough), they’re a little basic. If you’re on the hunt for something more adventurous, you may wanna skip. But if you’re searching for a simple and reliable snack, look no further.
Next time you’re craving something quick, stop by the Joy of Tea and ask for this popcorn chicken! We’re pretty sure ya won’t be disappointed. And as always, stay tuned to DFB for the latest Disney news!

The veg on the side is probably basil! It’s a very popular snack in Taiwan, I hope this stays an offering long enough for me to try it!

Thanks, Jello! I’ve let the editing team know, and they’ll double check.
