There’s a bunch of new Disney movies and shows on the way!
Even though The Falcon and the Winter Soldier JUST premiered on Disney+, we’re already lookin’ ahead and getting excited! Black Widow, Cruella, and more are on their way, and we can’t wait to chow down on popcorn while we watch. And now, Disney/Pixar’s newest animated movie, Luca, has updated its release plans!
Disney previously announced that Luca would debut in June 2021, and we got the chance to peek at a brand-new trailer! Now, we have an official release date: June 18. Disney also specified that the movie would launch exclusively on Disney+, which means you won’t be able to catch it in theaters. But it WILL be on the streaming platform for no added fee — you won’t need Premier Access to watch it!
Luca follows the friendship between a boy and a sea monster disguised as a human. From the first trailer alone, we’re anticipating that mix of humor and heartfelt Disney and Pixar do SO well. We’ll keep you posted as we receive more news about the release! Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney updates.

This infuriates me that were becoming a culture now that is going to be forced to sit home just to watch a movie, thanks to idiocy out of california and disney corp. not everyone everywhere wants to live like a jail bird in their home and never go out to do anything or be able to go see a movie again. this country has gone ten steps back. this should be released to both streaming (if first for awhile fine) but then to theathers.
