There are some ch-ch-ch-ch-changes happening in Disney World.
As Disney World prepares for the resort’s 50th Anniversary in October, we’ve seen a variety of work to spruce up the parks. Last week we spotted a permit for work on the Peter Pan’s Flight sign and now that sign has DISAPPEARED!
We were strolling through Magic Kingdom today when we spotted that the Peter Pan’s Flight sign is GONE. In its place, there’s a temporary banner showing the name of the attraction.
Fear not though! This change is not for good! In the permit for this work, Disney noted that the work is to “remove, refurbish, and reinstall sign.” Yep, the Peter Pan’s Flight sign should be back soon.
Interestingly enough, we spotted a van from the contractor on this permit, Yellow Cone Group, drive by this morning. Maybe they were working on the sign removal!
We’ll keep an eye out for the return of the Peter Pan sign. As always, stay tuned to DFB for updates!

My daughter and I were completely baffled today by the awkward route through Columbia House to get to Peter Pans Flight. It was so unprofessional the way the tables were arranged as barricades, etc. so sloppy and unprofessional. Also, we have been amazed at how “understaffed” the parks are.
Thank you for your advice!
