It’s that time of the week! We’re back to check out the average wait times in Disney World over the past week!
Disney World has been at capacity for over a week now, and doesn’t look to be any less busy anytime soon. Even though Park Pass Reservations continue to be booked up, the wait times in the parks have managed to go DOWN. Today, looking at the average wait times in ALL four Disney World theme parks!
Magic Kingdom
For the first time in a while, two attractions have tied for the highest wait time in Magic Kingdom! Splash Mountain and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train averaged 58 minutes this week!
Other wait times for thrill rides include Space Mountain averaged 47 minutes, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad averaged 36 minutes. Pirates of the Caribbean had a pretty high wait at 46 minutes, and Jungle Cruise had a wait time of 43 minutes.
Attractions with wait times in the 30s include “it’s a small world” at 38 minutes, Peter Pan’s Flight at 36 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 34 minutes, and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin with 33 minutes.
Rides with average waits in the 20s include Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 29 minutes, Mickey’s PhilarMagic at 26 minutes, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 22 minutes, and Haunted Mansion and Country Bear Jamboree at 20 minutes.
With waits in the teens, we saw The Magic Carpets of Aladdin and The Barnstormer at 15 minutes, Tomorrowland Speedway, and Mad Tea Party at 14 minutes, and Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid and Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 17 minutes.
Attractions with a pretty short wait time include the Carousel of Progress at 10 minutes, and the Liberty Square Riverboat at 3 minutes.
Just like the weeks before, there were a handful of attractions with zero minute wait times, including the Enchanted Tiki Room and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. The Hall of Presidents are currently under refurbishment.
Most of Magic Kingdom’s attractions had LOWER wait times, and not just by a little bit. Some average times went down by several minutes, despite the parks being very busy!

EPCOT
Test Track continues to have the longest wait in EPCOT this week at 58Â minutes. This time actually went down by 4 minutes this week even though Disney World is still at capacity!
Other popular attractions like Soarin‘ (49 minutes), Frozen After Ever (44 minutes), and Mission: SPACE (41 minutes) also had average wait times that down by a good amount this week.
The rest of EPCOT saw fairly low average wait times as usual, including Spaceship Earth with 24 minutes, Journey Into Imagination with Figment with 16 minutes, The Seas with Nemo & Friends with 14 minutes, and Living with the Land and the Gran Fiesta Tour with 10 minutes.
Similarly to past weeks, all of the films in EPCOT had a zero minute wait. That includes Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Awesome Planet, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China. American Adventure.
Just like Magic Kingdom, EPCOT saw a decrease in wait times in the park overall!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The longest wait time in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Tower of Terror again! The Toy Story attraction had an average wait time of 68 minutes this week! Slinky Dog Dash was right behind with 67 minutes.
Other attractions also had wait times that decreased this week like Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run with 52 minutes,  Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 40 minutes, and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster averaged 42 minutes.
A few attractions are below those times. Star Tours averaged 31 minutes, Toy Story Mania averaged 32 minutes, and Alien Swirling Saucers and Muppet*Vision 3D averaged 28 minutes.
Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy saw average wait times of 27 minutes which makes it the lowest in the park. Remember that Rise of the Resistance is not included in these numbers due to its virtual queue.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Both attractions in Pandora — the Land of Avatar continue to dominate for highest wait times Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney World as a whole, but one of the wait times went down SIGNIFICANTLY. This week, Flight of Passage had the longest wait time in ALL of Disney World with 70 minutes!
This time is down 3 minutes from last week, but Na’vi River Journey went down by a LOT with an average of 50 minutes. This is probably because plexiglass was installed on the ride this week, and from firsthand experience, it did make the line move pretty fast.
Dinosaur had an average wait time of 38 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris had an average wait time of 35 minutes, and Expedition Everest had an average wait time of 20 minutes.
Triceratop Spin continued to have the shortest wait time in the park with 9 minutes. Kali River Rapids is still under refurbishment.
This week’s average wait times were way lower than what we expected! If anything, we expected the wait times to go up as Disney World continues to be at capacity, or at least out of Park Pass Reservations. We hope this look at average wait times helps those of you prepping for a Disney trip soon. Stay tuned to DFB, and check for our weekly wait times next week!

Our trip is 28 May-4 June.
Are the parks up to their normal 100% crowd capacity? If not, what is the percentage ? Where can I go to see crowd capacity before we head down?
I really love your website; especially the daily info and YouTube videos. Keep up the great work! Thank you.

Thank you for all your hard work. Your information is always helpful. We we at Magic Kingdom yesterday and by 11am it was incredibly crowded. Wait times were all much longer than the averages you are posting. Even carousel of progress was 20 minutes. On a positive note we watched the people mover working while waiting in line for Buzz. Woohoo
DFB Sarah says
Sandra, the only number Disney has released is 35%. We don’t otherwise have any way to know what the capacity is.
