We have eaten our fair share of VERY unique snacks at Disneyland.
Sure, there are the usual Dole Whips and churros, but we’ve also had Lobster Nachos, Mickey Beignets, and Chimichangas!
But one of our favorite Disneyland snacks is a corn dog! So we’re a little curious about a NEW corn dog now available at Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs at Downtown Disney.
This looks like a pretty ordinary (maybe a little short and thick) corn dog, right? Except it’s got a fried Panko crumb crust to give it some extra crispiness. So we’re thinking YUM!
It’s what’s inside this corn dog that has us a little confused. This is a Pickle Corn Dog — there’s a hotdog inside a pickle inside that batter and crispy Panko crumb crust. We have SO many questions! This might be pretty yummy? Or not? It totally depends on your flavor preferences. Help us — we don’t know WHAT to think!
In case you were wondering what that dipping sauce is — it’s peanut butter. Apparently pickle and peanut butter sandwiches are a popular thing, but you don’t see peanut butter as a savory dipping sauce every day! So, okay — we won’t knock it before we try it, we guess. But we’re still confused.
Obviously, this corn dog has stirred up some feelings with Disney fans. Some people LOVE this flavor combination, while others may be doing this: 🤮. Could this be better with mustard or ketchup? Pickles are somewhat divisive on their own — people usually either love or hate them. So this baby is CONTROVERSIAL.
Whatever the case, we would be curious to know what you think! So drop us a line in our comments to let us know if you would eat this corn dog or not. And we’ll let you know if we spot any other unique snacks at Disneyland!

So would you try the Pickle Corn Dog? With or without peanut butter? Let us know in the comments!
Nicole B says
My mom and I tried this even though we were skeptical and we actually liked it! The tang of the pickle with the sweet nuttiness of the peanut butter and the savory hot dog went together way better than we thought! Give it a try before you knock it!
Tony says
I think this sounds delicious, but I’m curious about the peanut butter. I would give it a try but would be quick to request brown mustard if the pb tastes weird
Teri says
I LOVE a good kosher dill with creamy peanut butter & used to adore (I’m on east coast now) a Weinerschnitzel?polish? Dog! (Hot dog with dill spear.) .., SO
WISH this was going to be available at WDW for my Nov trip!
*try it! YOU’LL LIKE IT!!
Kevin says
I’m Sorry Disney this is horrible just
Nasty another one for the FAILD COLUMN after 2 bites I could not convince myself it was good or just ok .
Don Glover says
Gimme. I hope it makes its way to WDW for my visit in December. But sub Mustard for the Peanut Butter.
Krista Clift says
My family loves all of these ingredients – a giant pickle at Disneyland is a must – almost daily! We want to try this for sure!
Leah Osborne says
Yup. Want this! It sounds delicious to me.
Debbie Wills says
Maybe we should say this pickle corn dog is “Corntroversial”
Annette says
I would try it once if I had the opportunity to.
Pris says
Not sure about the pb but definitely yes to the pickle corn dog. Yum!
Susan says
I def need mustard with mine
SHIRLEY JOHNSTON says
Will we see it at WDW this summer. It sounds interesting I’d give it a try but then I like pickles on my hot dogs.
Veronica Vazquez says
Aww man!!! This has me so excited until I saw it was in California. I love anything with pickles!
diane michalski says

Maybe ketchup instead if peanut butter….but would love to see this in Walt Disney World!!
Mike Verble says
Yes I would try it and definitely with mustard! 😱
Karen says
I would try this. Hope they start serving in Disney World.
Claire says
Count me among the pickle and peanut butter sandwich loving crowd, so this peanut butter pickle corn dog sounds amazing! Why doesn’t Disney World have corn dog carts?! If this sticks around, I may have to finally schedule a trip to Disneyland.
Matthew says
I would try it when we get a chance to visit the parks hopefully it is still an option.
Chant says
Heck yes, I’d try this! I can only hope it shows up at Walt Disney World the next time we’re there!
Diane says
Yes I would try the corn dog. But I would either eat it plain or with mustard. I am allergic to peanut butter.
Scott Babcock says
I don’t mind it. I’ve had it at my county fair. I don’t know if I’d use the PB sauce though. I’d prefer ranch.
bbeal77 says
This sounds delicious! Fried pickles and corndogs by themselves are awesome! Don’t know what to think about peanut butter, maybe ranch instead
Krista says
The pb is the only part I’d shun. Otherwise gotta be honest, this looks delicious.
Carmen says
I would absolutely give it a try! I’m a big believer in ‘don’t knock it til you’ve tried it’. Plus I like hot dogs, corn dogs, pickles and peanut butter. It’s kind of like relish on your hot dog, right?
Capt jim says
Not for $13. Maybe for $5 I’d have to try it..🤪🤑
DFB Sarah says
Debbie, shared this gem with the team! 🙂
Melanie Durham says
Yummy! Love alllllll these ingredients together! Please have this at WDW soon!
Aaron Hill says
We tried this a few weeks ago. It was fantastic. We didn’t try the peanut butter but only because we got it to go and didn’t see the pb until we’d scarfed the corn dog. Our biggest mistake was thinking it was big enough to share. It would have been if it hadn’t been sooo good!
Cheryl Casanova says
I make these at home. I have never tried the Disney land ones. But they are amazing. I’m working on the peanut butter sauce.
Kelly Sullivan says
Definitely want to try it!
