Earlier this year, Disney announced that the Jungle Cruise attraction would be undergoing some changes at both Disneyland and Disney World!
The ride will be receiving a new storyline with new scenes along the river, unexpected scenarios, and an expanded backstory focusing on Alberta Falls, the proprietor of the Jungle Navigation Company Ltd. Now, some more updates about the changes coming to this attraction have been revealed!
Today, Imagineer Zach Riddley shared some more information on Instagram about the changes we can expect at Jungle Cruise at Disney World!
He noted that guests “may start to notice some monkey business along the river” on Jungle Cruise when the project kicks off in Disney World! Riddley also mentioned that the attraction is to remain open while the new changes are implemented. Check out the concept art below!
An official start date for this project is not noted on Disney World’s website, but the changes are expected to take place “over the next several months,” according to Riddley’s post.
We’ll be on the lookout for any more updates about the changes coming to Jungle Cruise, so be sure to check back with us!
