With the steadily increasing heat in Florida, we’ve been on the lookout for more refreshing drinks in Disney World. Boozy hot chocolates and St. Patrick’s Day cocktails are OUT, and quenching bevs are IN!
And boy did we find the perfect quencher in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where Nomad Lounge is celebrating Earth Month with a specialty cocktail that’s as refreshing as it is pretty!Â
Nomad Lounge is a good spot to find seasonal flavors in Disney World, for both food AND drinks! In honor of Earth Month, which Animal Kingdom loves to celebrate, the bar has a new specialty cocktail called Mother Earth, and she’s a stunner!
It’s made with Cruxland Gin, Lemon Juice, and Soda Water, and it’s all infused with Thunderbolt Darjeeling Tea Syrup, and YES, it’s as refreshing as it sounds!Â
For all you gin-lovers out there, this is THE drink for you. Before we ordered, our server even asked us if we liked gin, because the gin flavor is front-and-center.Â
Fortunately, we do love a gin cocktail, so this was perfect! Especially with the added acidity from the lemon! The tea rounds it all out nicely by bringing a little sweetness to the party, and it’s garnished with lemon and mint, which looks VERY Earth Day with its vibrant green!Â
If you love gin and need a little refresher during a long day in Animal Kingdom, head to Nomad Lounge and order a Mother Earth cocktail for $14! It’s such a nice pick me up after or in the middle of a long day in Disney World.Â
