A few days ago, we let ya know that some changes were coming to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge!
While the Disney Vacation Club rooms at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge have reopened, the non-DVC rooms are still closed. But when the resort as a whole reopens on June 6th, the rooms are gonna look a little different! And now, some changes are on the way over at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, too.
The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool waterslide and splash zone will both close on April 12th for refurbishment! According to Disney’s website, the work should be brief — it should only last through May.
Keep in mind that only the waterslide and splash zone are closing — the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool, Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool, and other recreational activities will all remain available! We’ve seen lots of pool construction going on around Disney World lately, so it seems like this quick update at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is next on the list.
We’ll be sure to keep you posted as we receive more updates on this brief closure! Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news.
