EPCOT’s transformation is well underway!
With an opening date announced for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and construction trekkin’ along at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, we’re really starting to see the park take shape! A super exciting aspect of that transformation? The brand-new fireworks show, Harmonious, which is on the way! Although Disney hasn’t yet announced exactly when this show will debut, we’ve been following the construction closely. And now, we’ve got another update!
Last we checked in with ya, all 5 barges were out on World Showcase Lagoon (and we’ve gotta say, they are pretty clunky and NOT the cutest). Today, we spotted some water testing taking place! Just a warning: if you’re standing in the direction of the breeze, you WILL get wet from all that mist.
These choreographed moving fountains are going to be the centerpiece of the display during the day — they’ll add to the atmosphere of the World Showcase! While they look kinda meh right now…
…we’ve gotta remind you what they should look like when construction is complete!
Phew, much better! It’s great to see progress taking place. We’ll keep an eye out for more updates and keep ya posted, so stay tuned to DFB!

Hello,
Do you think that the dining plan, fast pass or shows like Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid will be back by December?
DFB Sarah says
Trish, we don’t. We are actively watching for changes and updates and will post as soon as we know.

One of the last few open spaces at WDW and they just had to plop down a couple of really ugly barges in the middle of it. It would have been better had they placed the workings of the fountains below the surface of the water to preserve daytime views. Whoever sold Disney on this concept should be banisher to driving a Minnie Van for the rest of their WDW career!

Not looking forward to Harmonious. The older show was hard to beat..
