We’ve seen some major changes at EPCOT recently.

As the park’s transformation continues, we’re looking forward to the opening of brand-new rides and restaurants — and even a new fireworks show! Now, Disney’s announced that a new SHOP is on the way, and it’s gonna be a big deal.
The new Creations Shop isn’t just any ol’ store: it’s going to be the park’s flagship merchandise location! That means this will be a BIG store with lots of options for ya. And as for the design: it’s inspired by none other than Mickey Mouse! You’ll see him featured in a large mural on one of the walls and in smaller touches throughout the space. All of the artwork featured is completely unique to the space and intended to showcase “the global, contemporary icon that Mickey has become for generations around the world.” Pretty cool, right?!

The shop, according to Disney, will feature a “bold, sleek design” in an “open, bright, welcoming environment.” Like the rest of the transformation, this store will combine vision and tradition to bring together the past and future. And speaking of tradition…a new and improved Club Cool will be reopening next door! And boy are we EXCITED for that.

The shop will open this summer in EPCOT’s World Celebration area — one of the reimagined “lands” that will result from this transformation. Its opening builds on other park additions like the new main entrance fountain and lighting. We’ll keep ya posted with updates and more Disney news, so stay tuned to DFB!

Is this going in where Mouse Gears was? MG was huge and carried everything! I really liked that store.

I think the store will be for younger than middle ago and older
people . Younger people spend more money than us older ones . I would like theses clothing maybe but I like simple design s on shirts . I bought one item in Mouse Gear there was a lot of nice stuff but most was not my taste . My store is Disney Springs the Disney store I can say evey time I went I bought something in that store .
Bottom line, did any of these so called improvements to the park amount to a hill of beans at improving the guest experience. I think not. Other than disrupting the guest flow, none, from the so called iconic front entrance idol to the lights on spaceship earth, to the closing of the Electric umbrella, Mouse gears, Star Bucks, and the Coke store to the fountains at the Epcot Center sidewalk mark. Personally, I liked the old entrance with the pillars of guest pictures and the flower garden. Creations will not offer anything more or the Mouse Gear store it replaced. They made Starbucks less accessible and convenient, and a free soft drink treat will be replaced with a free soft drink treat. A lot of construction and guest experience disruption was traded for nothing new. Quite frankly I am disappointed… oh well
