There are so many different things that we can do with the My Disney Experience App, and our phones are the things that make it all happen. However, when we’re using our phones all the time, the batteries can die pretty quickly. Throughout Disney World, FuelRods are a convenient item for keeping your phone charged. Luckily, we’ve found a CHEAPER way to get them!
Just in case you’ve never used one before, we’ll give ya the lowdown on FuelRods in Disney World. These are portable chargers that you can buy for $30. When your FuelRod dies after charging your phone, you can swap it out at one of the many stations for a new one at no extra cost. The FuelRod program has had its ups and downs (which you can learn about here) but that’s the basic idea.

Now, we’ve found a way for you to SAVE on these portable chargers! We spotted them on Amazon, and you can get a 2-pack for $30, which is the price you’d pay for just one in Disney World. This is especially great if you need portable chargers for multiple people in your group.

The portable charger kit comes with cables and adaptors so your portable charger will work with any tablets and smartphones! These are the same as the ones in the parks, so you can swap them out just the same.

I clicked the link and nowhere does it say the fuel rod can be swapped for another one for free.
The description actually says that if you download their app they will give you credit that you can use to purchase a recharge.
