You’re finally able to book your Disneyland Park Passes today!
Wayyy back in 2020, Disney established that a Park Pass reservation system like Disney World’s would be in place upon Disneyland’s reopening. This pass will be required in addition to a valid ticket, to help abide by capacity limits. And if you have an existing Disneyland ticket, you can make those reservations TODAY! But BOY has it been a saga.
We’re pretty familiar with tech trouble when it comes to Disney reservations of any kind — after all, just ask the HOURS-long queue to buy A Touch of Disney tickets. But if you’re planning on reserving a Park Pass for Disneyland, you better pour yourself a cup of coffee and settle in for a potentially LONG wait. That wait time is currently posted at over an hour!
Now, that’s the wait time on our laptop. We were also in the virtual queue on our phone, and the wait time there showed just 26 minutes. We joined on our laptop first, so it seems to be random how quickly you move through the queue.
When we reached the end of the queue on our phone (hooray!), we were told we were being redirected to the website to reserve our passes…
…only to be placed in another queue. Meanwhile, our laptop had jumped down to 23 minutes…but who knows if that’s actually true. Guys, we’re getting A Touch of Disney flashbacks ALL over again.
Luckily, that second virtual queue wasn’t too long. After just a few minutes, we were able to snag a reservation on our phone — despite joining the queue on our laptop first. Good luck to ya if you’re trying to score that Park Pass! And if you’re a non-existing ticket holder trying to get into Disneyland, you’ll be able to buy tickets and book your Park Passes starting April 15th. We’ll keep ya posted on that, too!

I’ve always hated the “due to high demand” excuse companies use due to lack of personal. Disney knows their system id going to be bombarded when tickets go on sale to the public on the 15th, so why don’t they just upgrade their system and bring back and hire more personnel to handle all the anticipated website traffic? They have had over a year to prepare for this, so why does it seem they not prepared to handle all the traffic that is expected within in reasonable time? Sorry but a half hour to and hour if not longer is not reasonable to me.

The system sucks and Disneyland for all the money they have gotten over the years are not taking care of their customers at all. I literally have been in the waiting room for over 3 hours and Im not trying to buy tickets for April.

In the que for 3hours and 15minutes. Now its recalculating the approximate wait times.
Disneyland is popular!
Hopefully they go on a hiring spree and get the former employees back to earning $’s!

I am trying to get tickets today and am working on hour 3…………….. And it still says wait time more than an hour!
Randi Briggs says

I waited over 10 hours today. Initially I got on right at 8 AM it was done by 8:15, but my username and password wasn’t working so it kicked me off. I hopped back on by 8:30 and we did over 10 1/2 hours 😳. I have my tickets! Now how the heck to I reserve my dates? It seems as though they placed me in yet another Que (which I have been in now for another 2 hours)! Ridiculous! Not to mention that I paid over $750 for five people to attend a Disneyland for one day.

I have been waiting in the queue, on the app on my phone, for over 6 hours now and the approximate wait time has said more than one hour the entire time. Logged in on my desktop an hour ago and it says the same thing.

I’ll NEVER use my desktop mac anymore to procure a tix for Disneyland. I wasted hours this morning trying to even get on the stupid queue. My phone? Quick and easier to understand the website. They could’ve mentioned that. I finally, by using my mobil devices mid morning, got on the queue and got my tickets at 9:00 at night.
