UPDATE:Â About an hour later, we were successfully able to purchase tickets!
Anybody else counting down the days until they’ll be able to explore both Disneyland parks? (We are!) It’s just a matter of WEEKS before we’re chilling on Main Street with a view of the Sleeping Beauty Castle and a churro in hand.
And, yes, we’re already VERY emotional just thinking about it! At the “A Touch of Disney” limited time event, we’ve already been able to see a few of the changes we can expect in the parks. Disney California Adventure has debuted the health and safety precautions, including limited capacity and attraction guidelines. We’ve also figured out exactly what dining and attractions will reopen with the parks! And now, tickets are officially on sale.
We previously reported that there was a virtual waiting room open for those waiting to buy their tickets today. Now, we have officially bumped into the virtual queue, which means tickets are LIVE! Our estimated wait time is currently over an hour.
In our past experiences, these wait times have varied drastically, so we’ll see how long we actually stay in this line. Best of luck to ya if you’re waiting with us!
If you’re buying tickets today, keep in mind that the parks are only open to California residents at this time, and guests are not allowed to attend in groups larger than 3 families. We’ve already broken down all of the tickets prices, as well as blockout dates for each tier — you can find all that info here. And after you buy your tickets, you will immediately be able to make Park Pass reservations. These Park Passes ARE required in addition to your ticket in order to gain entry.
We were able to move through the whole process in a little over an hour, but others are still struggling to get tickets. After a few hours, a member of our team’s screen STILL showed that the wait was over an hour. Then, that screen switched to “recalculating.” What does that even MEAN?!
If you’re in this virtual queue, there’s really no telling how long you’ll have to wait — and there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to who gets through when. We’ll keep you posted, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest Disneyland reopening news.

Hi! The wait is almost over and it says recalculating your wait time. Did the site crash?

At this point, the queue time is now out past August based on the API calls the waiting page is making.

I got through ticket purchase today 4/16 within an hour. Received email saying processing order. Still no email with tickets. How long should it take to process and receive e-tickets? I heard people got them in minutes so worried something is wrong. 😩
