It’s springtime in Disney World!
If you’re making the trek to The Most Magical Place on Earth next week, you should probably get packing soon! Before you do though, it’s a good idea to check in on that Disney World weather. Well, we’re here to help. Here’s an update on the full forecast for next week in Disney World!
Weather Forecast
According to The Weather Channel, we’ve got another rainy week coming in Disney World! Last week we said goodbye to cooler temperatures and hello to wet days. Will this week be more of the same? Or will it be even rainier?! Let’s find out!
April 19th
Monday, April 19th will start the week with pretty toasty daytime temps and a comfy night. That day is going to max out at an 84-degree high and we’ll see 63 degrees at night.
YES! This week we’ve FINALLY made it out of the 50s. 63 degrees might still feel a little chilly but if you’re used to mild temps, you can probably skip packing the layers. Just don’t skip that rain layer!
April 20th
The next day, April 20th brings us the coolest temperatures of the whole week when it comes to the high at 74 degrees during the day, and keeping that low down at a cool but still comfy 67 degrees.
Get ready for scattered showers and thunderstorms with the (oh no) potential for heavy rainfall. Get that poncho packed in your park bag or you could end up DRENCHED.
April 21st
On Wednesday, April 21st, we’re going to see temps that are pretty similar to the day before. Your low is gonna slide down into the very low 60s for a relatively cool (but dry!) evening.
We’ll likely see a rainy morning on Tuesday but we can expect some sun in the afternoon.
April 22nd
For Thursday, April 22nd, we’re seeing a day with continued warm (but not too warm!) temps in the high-80s and a cooler evening in the low 60s again.
Keep in mind this is still a 20-degree change in temperature from the high to the low. 61 degrees is only BARELY out of the 50s, so you might need an extra layer for your nights in the parks or Disney Springs.
April 23rd
The week continues with slightly higher temperatures in both the day and the nighttime on April 23rd.
And that chance of rain is sticking around with the potential for a few showers in the afternoon.
April 24th
Saturday, April 24th brings us even warmer temps up in the mid-80s and. YEP, we’ve got some rain. Get ready for some thunderstorm potential. Remember, lighting and heavy rides can close some outdoor attractions so you might want to make them a priority early.
Here, we’ll see an 85-degree high and a 69-degree low.
April 18th
And we’ll wrap up our week on April 18th with still-warm temperatures and the continued chance of thunderstorms. It’s pretty important to stay dry!
And remember, a rainy 66 degrees might feel a LOT cooler than you’re expecting. We recommend an extra warmth layer or using an insulated rain layer for your evening.
Overview of the Week
Here is a full overview of the week according to The Weather Channel. Temperatures are projected to start on the more mild side and rise over the week. We’re looking at a range of 70s to 80s highs and 60s lows.

Tips for Weathering the Weather!
So, what are our best tips for packing?
Get ready for those April showers!
Florida’s springtime showers are NO JOKE and you might be surprised at how hard it can be to find cover in Disney World during a sudden downpour. And you can expect a LOT of sudden downpours. But, we want you to be prepared!
Keep an eye on that radar, even when it’s sunny. If you see that there’s a big block of rain coming, head for a merchandise shop or indoor queue BEFORE the sky starts to look angry. As soon as those skies open up, folks will be clamoring for a roof. Plus, make sure you’ve got a rain layer handy.

Get ready for the heat AND chill!
This week is bringing us hotter temperatures AND cooler temperatures. True, we’re not dealing with any extremes, but it can tricky to prep for BOTH warm days and cold nights with just one park bag or outfit.
The secret? LAYERING. Snag a warmth layer or a rain layer that has some insulation and tie it around your waist or keep it in your bag for when those temperatures drop. At the same time, make sure you’re lightening up those layers in the heat and wear that sunscreen!
And do not forget that Pancho, rain jacket, and umbrella! You may also want to pack an extra pair of shoes and socks, just in case they get wet.
