PHOTOS: A Construction Project at Disney’s Polynesian Resort Is Finished!

There has been SO MUCH going on over at Disney’s Polynesian Resort — the entire resort is getting a serious glow-up!

The resort is set to reopen in July, and reservations are already open to guests! We’ve seen a sneak peek at the remodeled Moana-inspired rooms, AND we’ve seen the Cast Members in brand new outfits! So as construction starts to wind down, some things there are starting to reopen.

In February, the Kiki Tikis Splash Area closed for refurbishment. It was initially scheduled to reopen in March, but it actually just reopened this week!

Time to splash around!

Okay, so we’ll admit it — it’s a hot day and we were SO jealous of those kids splashing around in there! They SERIOUSLY have the right idea!

We want to play…

So if you’re planning on visiting the Polynesian when it reopens (or if you’re a DVC Member staying at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows), you now have another option to keep the kids entertained on a hot day!

And we’ll keep an eye on all the construction going on at the Polynesian and keep you updated!
