We’ve been pretty impressed with the latest sand sculpture creations that we’ve seen over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Seriously, it’s impressive to see Disney artists turn tons of sand into something beautiful. They did it for Raya and the Last Dragon and most recently for the upcoming Disney+ series Secrets of the Whales.
We’ve enjoyed seeing all the creations they’ve come up with! At the beginning of the month, a new whale sand sculpture was on display on the Discovery Island Stage.Â
But today, when we stopped by Animal Kingdom to check out its Earth Day celebrations, we noticed that it had a slightly new look! And that one, too, features WHALES! Now, it has some new whales on it with the show’s logo! Plus, a little note in celebration of Earth Day! Can you spot the differences between the current whales and the whales from the beginning of the month?
How can you not be amazed by all those details? These artists are incredible! This one celebrates the show’s premiere date, which also just happens to be Earth Day — April 22nd.
If you’d like to see this sand sculpture for yourself, you can find it at the Discovery Island Stage. But hurry, it could change again soon, for all we know! And if we spot any other creations by Disney artists around Disney World, we’ll be sure to let you know!
