The past year has been a challenging one for lots of Cast Members.
Many Cast Members were furloughed last year and thousands were laid off. But, recently more Cast Members at Disney World and many over at Disneyland have reportedly been called back to work, and rules have even changed when it comes to Cast Member appearances and the “Disney Look.” But now Cast Members at Disney World may be able to get an extra special perk!
According to Scott Gustin, Disney World is reportedly “offering all Florida-based currently working and furloughed Cast Members a complimentary one-night resort stay.”
Reportedly, eligible Cast Members will be able to choose from a list of eligible dates. Availability is limited and offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. More information is set to be sent out to Cast Members about this later today.
Disney hasn’t shared any other details about this at the moment, but we’re so happy to see Cast Members — both furloughed and currently working — getting a little something special to thank them for all the work they do making magic for others.
In case you missed it, recently Disney significantly updated its policies regarding the “Disney Look.“ Appropriate tattoos, gender inclusive hair styles, and more are now allowed and we’ve seen a number of Cast Members sporting new looks in the parks.

That’s awesome! They definitely deserve it, especially since they have been mostly blocked out of entering the parks for fun since the reopening.
