Looking to try something new on your next Disney World vacation? Skip a meal at the parks and dine at one of the resort hotels — you’ll never know what may surprise you!
Case in point: we stopped by Rix Sports Bar & Grill at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort today to try a fun dessert off of the kids menu!
If you have any cotton candy fans in your household, you may want to call them over to have a look at this Cotton Candy Cheesecake!
This dessert is Cotton Candy-flavored Blue and Pink Swirled Cheesecake with a Graham Cracker Crust. It comes topped with thick Whipped Cream Cheese, Strawberry Syrup, Berries (including a Strawberry and Blueberry) and garnished with a piece of Fluffy Cotton Candy!
There was absolutely NO mistaking that this was indeed a Cotton Candy dessert. You would know the deal even if you were blindfolded — but don’t let that scare you away! It’s actually quite good! We were caught a bit off-guard with the first bite (like, WOW this is 10,000% Cotton Candy), but the more we dug in, the more we found ourselves truly enjoying this dish! While the flavor is distinctly cotton candy, we didn’t find this to be overpowering.
The toppings really add a little something extra and they all taste so well together! We found the portion size to actually be pretty good for a kids dessert! It’s basically a regular cheesecake slice you’d get on any menu (minus Cheesecake Factory, of course!) and for just $5, we would say that this is a solid value. Not only would we order this dessert again, but we would eat it all by ourselves again (sorry, we’re not the best at sharing when we really like a dessert!).
And if a picture of cheesecake says a thousand words, a video of that same slice of cheesecake could likely say ten thousand words!

Is that the only thing you have to show us from the kids’ menu? I feel the title of this page was misleading. I’m not dying for cotton candy and I don’t care for cheesecake at all. I thought you were going to show us the actual kids’ menu meals. One of the hard choices in a restaurant you cannot visit often is deciding what to eat. What a treat it would be to order 2 or 3 kids’ menu items instead of one item from the adult menu.
