There are a few VERY exciting rides coming to Disney World.
We’re pretty pumped for the opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT on October 1st and for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT and TRON Lightcycle Run in Magic Kingdom to follow at some (unannounced) point in the future.
Now, we’re taking a look at the current progress on TRON Lightcycle Run from the SKY. Attractions Magazine recently shared photos from @bioreconstruct on Twitter that show the state of the ride from above.
The view shows the full shape of the outdoor, soon-to-be-lighted canopy that covers the exterior portion of the ride. Seeing it next to Space Mountain gives a good idea of just how massive this new installation is! The canopy will be a major addition to the skyline of Tomorrowland.
You’ll spot that the brown supports that were used to help build the canopy have started to be dismantled and removed.
Here’s what they looked like during the work!
The attraction still does not have an opening date and we have to say that seeing these images is not helping to lower our anticipation. We can’t wait to see and RIDE it in all its finished glory!
As always, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest updates from Disney World and beyond!

Interesting, but excessive. I say a concept of a similar attraction over 10 ago where guests would ride a Star Wars ride cycle and sped thru the forests of endor with virtual cuing and video screens,.
