Guests staying at Disney hotels get quite a few perks!
Although offsite hotels are expanding their list of perks, too, there are a few benefits you’ll only get from staying at a Disney resort. One of those is Early Theme Park Entry! And there’s another big one that you may not even know about….but it could save you a LOT of money.
If you’re opting out of Disney transportation and driving from your Disney hotel to the parks instead, you qualify for FREE parking! Now, this has always been a thing, but Disney’s giving us a little reminder now. On our most recent trip to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, we noticed a scrolling announcement on the bottom of our TV advertising that free parking!
Considering standard parking costs $25 per day, this resort perk could really help you save! Disney emphasizes that driving is “another convenient way to access the parks,” and if you don’t want to take Disney transportation, this may be a great option for you. Now, it’s kinda funny that Disney is reminding people about this once they’re ALREADY at the hotel. You either have your car or you don’t, right?! But hey! We’re here to tell ya about it before your trip. 😉
We’re guessing Disney might be doing this to relieve bus crowds/other transportation traffic, particularly in the mornings. Keep this perk in mind if you’ll have a car with you (and if you’re staying at a Disney hotel) on your next vacation! And stay tuned to DFB — we’ll keep bringing you Disney tips and news.

They charge to park at the hotel now. They are getting that money either way.

This is good to know, but it’s also good to know that depending on the resort you stay at, there’s a parking cost overnight, so there’s no getting out of one of the parking fees- resort or park.
