Hey there friends, this is DFB here to remind you not to skip the most important meal of the day when you’re in Disney World!
Whispering Canyon Cafe
All across the property, there are AMAZING breakfast options to be discovered, like the Gaston’s Tavern cinnamon roll or the delightful character breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace. We love to enjoy a nice, relaxing breakfast in Disney World, and today we did just that — to check out a new menu item!
This morning we stopped by Disney’s Wilderness Lodge to enjoy a hearty (and very filling) first meal of the day!
Now that’s a view!
Over at Whispering Canyon Cafe, guests can order all-you-care-to-eat breakfast skillets for $22 each, and these things come piled high with the GOODS. This morning, we selected The Heritage with House-made Buttermilk-Cheddar Biscuits and Sausage Gravy with Mickey Waffles, Scrambled Eggs, Country Potatoes, Hickory-smoked Bacon, and Pork Sausage Links.
Yep, our mouths are watering.
And even though the menu says “scrambled eggs,” we were delighted to find that our eggs came in the shape of one Mickey Mouse!
MICKEY EGGS!!!!
Okay, that’s just too darn stinkin’ cute. What a way to put a smile on our faces early in the morning!
It’s official: this is the only way we want eggs from now on.
We love when Disney does fun things like this with food (remember Mickey butter?!). There’s a reason why Mickey waffles and premium bars and pretzels are all so popular — most foods are better when they’re Mickey-shaped!

Okay, I want to make my own Mickey-shaped scrambled eggs!
How do they do it? Do they use a Mickey-shaped cookie cutter,
and place it inside to cook?

Annette, my best guess based on photos is that they’re cooked in a mold, but I don’t think we know for sure.
