The Disney Skyliner opened in 2019, and while it runs smoothly most of the time, sometimes there are issues.
Back in October of 2019, there was an accident where the gondolas crashed into each other and there has not been a crash since then. Tonight, the Disney Skyliner has crashed again.
At the Disney’s Hollywood Studios station, some Skyliner gondolas crashed into each other. Some glass from the Skyliner did shatter, but Disney was quick to clean it up. Nobody was hurt in this Skyliner incident.
In this video from Instagram user @nextstopmainstreet, we have a video that shows us more from the crash.

For guests stuck in the Skyliner, Disney has emergency kits that include a few packets of drinking water, cool packs, a pencil and notepad, a whistle, a glow stick, and a few blue cups.
UPDATE:Â We visited the Disney Skyliner station at Disney’s Hollywood Studios where the crash happened. After just a couple of hours, the Skyliner was running like normal for guests to use. For more details on our experience at this Skyliner station, click here.
We will update you if anything else happens with the Disney Skyliner.
