Disney Cast Members have gotten some exciting news lately!

Disney just relaxed its employee dress code, allowing for more self-expression (and we’ve loved seeing Cast Members embrace their personal style!). Cast Members also received news that they’d get a one-night stay at a Disney hotel! But now, Disney has revealed a little bit of bad news.
In case you didn’t know, Cast Members receive complimentary park admission. That’s pretty cool, right?! However, they are subject to blockout dates — particularly during busy times of the year. And since the parks have consistently been reaching capacity lately, those blockout dates are WAY more frequent than usual.

For example, this month, Cast Members were almost completely blocked out of all 4 parks. And the situation’s shapin’ up to be pretty similar in May! Both types of Cast Member admission — self-admission and the Main Entrance Pass — are totally blocked out next month. What a bummer!

It is worth noting that this blockout calendar changes randomly and spontaneously. For example, last week, 2 random days opened up for EPCOT — and this week, 2 MORE days have reappeared at EPCOT for self-admission passes! So if Cast Members want to visit the parks, they’ll be keepin’ a close eye on this page. It seems like availability opens up at the very last minute.

Hopefully, Cast Members’ free one-night hotel stay will still let them enjoy Disney next month. Here’s hoping they’ll get to stop by the parks soon! Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news.

Cast members should get a better piece of Disney block them from going into the park is bad . First not pay them any real money ,get rid of them bring a small portion come back . I wished I could work for Disney . But not any more I would not ever work for this company using there cast !members . Disney get smart the cast members is Disney !!!!
Trash company if they don’t value disney employees. Not only do they pay very little bit the benefits they do get are taken away ??? What’s the point of working there then?
